About ESE

Equal Student Exchange (ESE) is a volunteer-based student network which provides free information about student exchange and study overseas opportunities.

Focusing on providing information to students from developing countries, ESE acknowledges the financial and organisational obstacles these students must often come to face. It is the belief of ESE that both universities and students can benefit through international engagement. A more culturally diverse range of international students will contribute to the continued exchange of knowledge, ideas and culture between different universities and countries.

The volunteers of ESE recognize the importance of establishing enduring educational, cultural and professional links through student exchange.

AMUNC2013

The 2013 Asia-Pacific Model United Nations Conference (AMUNC)
AMUNC is one of the world's premier university-level model United Nations Conferences. Organised entirely by youth for youth, it offers future leaders an opportunity to experience the world of diplomacy while also articulating their vision for a brighter future.

AMUNC is first and foremost a Model United Nations. Students are given the opportunity to represent one of the UN's 193 member states, as well as a number of other non-country entities, on a diverse range of committees simulating either UN or supra-national bodies. As it also offers students the chance to hear from inspiring speakers and experts on a wide variety of topics, AMUNC is a unique educational opportunity for anyone with an interest in international relations generally or any of the numerous global issues we collectively face.

Also featuring an exciting program of social events that are a highlight of the conference every year, AMUNC is very much an exercise in bringing people together. The Asia-Pacific is the most diverse region on the planet. With attendees at AMUNC embodying this diversity, it represents a unique coming together of young people who all care about the world and their place in it.

In 2013, AMUNC will be held at Victoria University of Wellington from the 7th – 12th of July. To find out how you can be involved, visit www.amunc.net.
